MOTOGRATER Tour Cancelled
January 9, 2004According to MOTOGRATER's official newsletter, the group's previously announced U.S. tour dates have been cancelled.
The reasons for the cancellation, according to the newsletter, are as follows:
#1. "The rest of the tour dates had not been confirmed yet, leaving us with less than two weeks to have the tickets on sale and do promotion. (You guys [probably] remember the mess with the KITTIE/MUSHROOMHEAD tour. We did not want a repeat.)"
#2. "The record label is less interested in providing U.S. tour support (the bad news),and much more interested in getting that SECOND ALBUM! (the great news!) Talks have begun regarding getting MOTOGRATER back into the studio, rather than back out on tour.
#3. "The label is contemplating a European tour as a possibility before MOTOGRATER heads back into the studio."
MOTOGRATER's self-titled debut was released last May through No Name/Elektra Records.
